I am an accomplished real estate consultant and investor in the greater Washington, D.C. area with more than 13 years of experience.
I am a radiant, warm and joyful Jamaican native who was fortunate enough to grow up in a wealthy and extremely hardworking family that owned a large portfolio of real estate and hotel properties across the island. After moving to the United States about two decades ago, I applied my family’s work ethic and trade secrets to create my own path and career here.
Over the past decade as a part-time real estate consultant, I have sold more than $16 million in homes in the greater Washington D.C. area. In addition, I have successfully invested more than a dozen single- family homes that I renovated and sold for a profits that typically exceeded between 35-55 percent the original purchase price plus what I invested in renovations. As a result, I not only have an impressive client base that I have built strictly through referrals and by treating each client as if he or she is my only one, but I also have an established network of contractors and designers with whom I have personal relationships and real-life experience.
My love of real estate stems from my sincere passion for matching clients with their current—and aspirational—lifestyle. I believe that the best marketing blends cutting edge digital services with traditional, in-person networking, and I leverage my personal interests in international culture and fashion as well as world class food and wine to bond with likeminded afficinados and potential clients. On the one hand, I use an innovative international marketing service to tap into the Chinese market; but, on the other hand, I personally bake one-pound Jamaican rum cakes for all of my clients to give them as holiday gifts.
